Wherever you are for Christmas the most common denominator in all celebrations is food. Here are some of the delectable Christmas dishes that grace tables in different corners of the globe.

USA
In the United States, Christmas is synonymous with a grand feast featuring roast turkey or ham, cranberry sauce, and stuffing followed by pumpkin pie and a glass of eggnog to wash it down

UNITED KINGDOM
Across the pond, the United Kingdom has its own set of Christmas culinary traditions - roast turkey or goose with stuffing, roasted vegetables and beloved Christmas pudding.

ITALY
In Italy, Christmas is a time for indulging in a feast known as the "Feast of Seven Fishes" (La Vigilia). This seafood-centric meal typically includes dishes like baccalà (salted cod), calamari, and various types of fish pasta. Panettone, a sweet bread filled with candied fruits, is a popular Italian Christmas dessert.

JAPAN
A quirky tradition in Japan sees people tucking into a KFC bargain bucket on Christmas day, instead of a home cooked meal. This is often followed by a light sponge cake adorned with whipped cream and strawberries.

GERMANY
If you’re celebrating in Germany you’re bound to get your fair share of lebkuchen (gingerbread cookies), stollen (fruit cake) as well as roast goose or duck with red cabbage.

MEXICO
Here the Christmas season is marked by the vibrant and flavorful feast of tamales. Families come together to prepare these savory treats made of masa dough filled with various ingredients, such as meats, chilies, and vegetables.
No matter where you find yourself during the holiday season we hope that your table is surrounded by loved ones and adorned with delicious foods and decadent Christmas delights!
