Cleaning rainbow or white marks in AMC cookware

22 August 2022 / Posted in AMC Products

Have you ever noticed rainbow or white marks after boiling rice, potatoes or noodles in your AMC cookware? This is a normal reaction between stainless steel and certain ingredients - it does not affect your cookware. You can choose to ignore these marks or easily remove them.

There are 3 easy steps to remove these rainbow or white marks:

  1. Wash your cookware in warm water with dishwashing liquid as you normally would.
  2. If the marks are visble after the wash, coat the base with vinegar or lemon juice.
  3. Rinse with clean water and dry.

And just like that, the rainbow or white marks should be gone.
